Door surround of peach silk faille embroidered in grise, cream & ombre brown to tan silk threads predominantly in satin stitch w/ flowering scroll motif to upper register & triple border w/ dart, acanthus & shaded sphere motifs, 66” x 144”, (broad light-moderate fading & discoloration, several 0.25”-0.5” light stains, few tiny holes, light wear) Very good. Provenance: Brooklyn Museum.
