Silk gazar party dress w/ large purple floral motif, slvelss w/ asymmetrical single SH strap into floor length panel falling from back left SH, fitted W w/ draped tie, calf length skirt, unlabeled & attributed to Givenchy, S/S 1987, made for the owner by the gifted Givenchy dressmaker Madame Gilberte, comes with the original Maison de Mme Gilberte couture feather fascinator, inked label “No. 69, Susan,–”, B 30”, W 23”, L 47”, (light wear & discoloration few loose stitches b/t neckline & interior bodice & at hem, sm pink marks CF W, tiny pulls, sm light stains,) Very good, matching headpiece attributed to Maison de Mme Gilberte, 7” x 16”, (light wear/fraying to petal edges) Excellent.
