1 dolman of cream patterned wool trimmed w/ crimped silk fringe & chenille ribbon, decorative hood lining w/ pleated paper taffeta & terminating in corded tassel, silk taffeta lining, c. 1889, SH-SH 16”, L 37” w/ fringe, (several sm holes esp. near CF placket, minor fringe loss, few stains under 0.5”, minor shatter to lining) Good; 1 dolman of black ribbed silk w/ cisele’ velvet brocade to CF, CB & cuffs, chenille & drop fringe, chantilly lace hem, c. 1875, SH-SH 16”, L 34”, (collar partially unstitched, sm holes in lace trim, 4” seam opening CF b/t trim and hem, minor trim loss) Excellent. Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum.
